Answers You Deserve, Care You Can Trust
ADHD, autism, psychoeducational, and other specialty psychological evaluations, including uncommon school-focused and PDA-informed autism pathways, in-person in Lexington, Kentucky and via telehealth across Kentucky and beyond.
The Reality
Getting Answers Should Not Be This Hard
Twilight Psychology is built around the psychoeducational and psychological evaluations that are genuinely hard to access in one practice — comprehensive assessments for IEP and 504 decisions, twice-exceptional and gifted documentation, and specialty testing for ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and learning differences. We provide the clinical depth families need when school-systems or agencies without a Licensed Psychologist fall short. Therapy and medication management are available in-house for integrated follow-through care. Learn about our Specialties
Psychoeducational evaluations are harder to access
Most practices refer out IQ and achievement testing to specialists and limit the battery to what insurance allows at clinician licensure — leaving families without the documentation depth that IEP, 504, and accommodation decisions actually require. Twilight Psychology fills that gap.
PDA is routinely missed or misdiagnosed
Demand-avoidant autism presentations are often labelled oppositional or non-compliant. Finding a clinician who evaluates specifically for PDA traits within a neuro-affirming framework remains genuinely rare.
Medication access can take months
Wait times for psychiatric prescribers — especially those who can prescribe controlled substances for ADHD — are long. A short access window to a qualified NP makes a real clinical difference.
A diagnosis without follow-through isn't enough
An evaluation is only valuable if the next steps are clear. Having therapy and medication management along with assessment available in one practice changes the outcome for families seeking answers to their child's developmental needs.
