Insurance Information

Therapy and medication management are the services most often billed through insurance. Clients with Kentucky Medicaid typically have $0 copays for covered services. For commercial insurance we recommend calling (859) 687-5843 to determine approximate rates, though you should always confirm benefits, copays, and deductibles with your insurance provider prior to your appointment.

We do accept insurance for select treatment-focused evaluation referrals. Insurance typically authorizes only a limited number of psychological testing units, and those hours include record collection, collateral information, interviewing clients and parents, test administration, reviewing and integrating data, researching concerns, consulting with other providers, and report writing. When we bill insurance, we use the most clinically relevant tests within the hours approved.

Self-pay is available when a referral needs a broader battery or more documentation than insurance allows. Kentucky Medicaid clients cannot be charged beyond covered amounts, so Medicaid evaluations are limited to the hours approved by the plan. Court, school, benefits, ESA, and many educational or accommodation-focused evaluations are usually self-pay or funded by a third party rather than billed to insurance.

ADHD Testing Cost

ADHD evaluations are $1,300 on a self-pay basis and can be split into 2–3 payments across your appointments. Payment plans are available with no added fees.
